The 2007 Annual Fund
raised just under $40,000 to help support the school. Thank you to
everyone who donated! We will be sending our full Annual Report to
parents, parishioners and friends of St. Mary of the Annunciation School. We will then start working on our 2008 Annual
Fund.
2008 Annual Fund Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 to help meet regular operating expenses. Gifts to the Annual Fund come from parents, alumni, grandparents, and parishioners. The Annual Fund concludes on June 30, 2008. This year's auction was held on Friday, November 2 at Jimmy’s Allenhurst in Danvers, this popular benefit is based on a different theme every year and has something for everyone. Along with the Annual Fund, the Fall Auction helps with the operating expenses.Sister Theresa Ryder, S.N.D. Annual Golf ClassicThis annual golf tournament and sports auction is held each June and pays tribute to Sister Theresa, whose 23-year commitment to Catholic education at St. Mary’s, has inspired and guided hundreds of children and has fostered in them a sense of academic, spiritual, and moral excellence. Net proceeds from the Golf Classic go to the SMA Endowment Fund for tuition assistance. This year’s Golf Classic will be held on Monday afternoon, June 2, 2008, location to be announced.Memorial FundGifts to the Memorial Fund are a wonderful way of remembering the life of a loved one and helping the school as well. Contribution forms are available in the Main Office and Development Office.
