Supply List School Year 2008-2009 

Parents:  as you may be aware, research has shown that color-coding is an excellent aid to children with any type of organizational issues.  For that reason, we will continue to rely on notebooks and book covers of the same color if at all possible.  If you choose to use the cloth covers, please be sure to purchase the JUMBO SIZE.  The smaller ones will ruin the bindings on our textbooks.

HOMEROOM:  Tissues (2 boxes), pens (black or blue and red), highlighter, pencils, small pencil sharpener, pencil case, colored pencils, six pocket folders, dictionary and loose leaf paper.  The required assignment book will be distributed in the fall.  NO WHITEOUT IS ALLOWED!

RELIGION:  Purple single subject spiral notebook (preferably without perforated pages), Bible (Old and New Testament) for home use; it is not needed in school.

ENGLISH:  Green single subject spiral notebook, green 2 pocket folder, marble composition college ruled notebook.

MATH:  2-inch three-ring binder, 4 pocket dividers for the binder, protractor, ruler (standard and metric measure).

READING:  Blue single subject spiral notebook, loose leaf paper.

SCIENCE:  Black three-subject notebook (preferably without perforated pages), 1 black pocket folder, loose leaf paper.

SOCIAL STUDIES:  Yellow single subject spiral notebook, yellow 2 pocket folder, loose leaf paper, colored pencils, and a world atlas in paperback

LATIN:  Loose leaf paper

** PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING!   Clearly mark sweatshirts; they are frequently left all over the school since students are changing classes.
