The theme of the contest was Hope in Scripture and students were instructed to write about someone who was a "Pilgrim of Hope" to them.
In total, 575 Students from twenty-five schools across the archdiocese submitted their stories. Catey’s essay was one of just four that were recognized as winners.
Congratulations to Catey on this wonderful and well-deserved achievement! And congratulations to Mrs. O’Hearn for being a guiding light for your students. This is a beautiful example of the positive impact teachers can have on their students.
